Classes:

Each racer will receive a T-Shirt. The top 3 racers in each age division will receive awards. The top 6 expert racers (men-3, women-3) will also receive cash prizes. Cash payout amount will be based on number of participants. Merchandise from sponsors will be distributed by raffle. So no matter where you place, you have a chance taking something home with you. Raffle entry is included with your race registration.

Fees:

The cost will be $30 for riders who pre-register. The cost will be $35 for riders who register the day of the race. Pre-registration must be received by Thursday, August 23, 2012. A full refund is available if contacted on or before Thursday, August 23, 2012. No refunds are available after the close of pre-registration.

Times:

Registration will start at 8:00 am and end half an hour before each race's start time. The Novice and Clydesdale race will start at 10:00 am, Sport and Expert at 12:00 pm.

Course:

Novice and Clydesdale riders will do one lap, Sport riders two, and Expert's three. The lap will be marked with course tape and marshaled in a few key sections. The lap will be roughly 10 miles long and consist almost exclusively of technical singletrack. There are log piles, creek crossings, and a few steep hills.

Directions:

Take I-74, either from the East or West, to the Oakwood/Potomac exit (#206). Exit and head north, towards the Marathon station. Turn right after the curve, there is a sign for Kickapoo State Park. Remain on this road until the stop sign in the park, take a left. Follow this road through the park and to the trail head on the Left side of the road.

Registration Instructions:

You have three options to register: 1) register online and pay with PayPal, 2) send in a completed form and check, or 3) register and pay the day of the race. First, fill out the following form. After you submit your information, you have the option to pay with PayPal or print out the page and send it in with your check. With PayPal, you can pay using a credit card or a checking account. PayPal payments are secure and simple.

On the day of the race, stop in at the registration desk to pick up your number and sign a waiver. If you are 17 and under, a parent or guardian must also be present to sign the Parental Consent Form.

Please mail your check by Sunday, August 19, 2012. PayPal payments accepted through Thursday, August 23, 2012.
